I wanted to create an interactive art installation which was easy to transport, intuitive and easy to use, so I came up with the Happy Alphabet.
The Happy Alphabet is the whole alphabet, plus a couple of popular extras made completely out of recycled materials. The wheels and wood I got from a local store which were changing their interior, and the paint is wrongly toned paint from a Danish paint manufactory.
The Happy Alphabet is ideal for any street party, festival, concert or interactive library or museum. Anyone from children to grownups can interact with it and write anything they can come up with by rolling the giant letters into position, and in the places where I have taken it so far, it has been a huge success.
