Bird Nest

The bird nest is a birdhouse sculpture I build in a workshop at a nursing home in Aarhus.

Together with 7’th grade students from a local school, the residents at the nursing home and I painted 100 birdhouses made from scrapwood.

The workshop was a great success and a positive experience for the residents as well as the younger generation.

After the workshop I turned the birdhouses into an installation, with a bench, that the residents could use together or when having visitors.
